Per Castle View’s block schedule a previous semester refers to Terms 3 and 4 from previous school year and any summer school classes approved by Douglas County School District. Any student who does not have 2.5 credits is not eligible to compete until a date determined by CHSAA. The athlete may however participate, but the athletic fee will not be waived or refunded under these circumstances.

Castle View Eligibility Policy. Along with the above CHSAA requirements, a weekly grade eligibility reports is run on Thursdays and given to Coaches. If a student has 2 or more F’s, the student is not eligible to compete for the following week (Monday-Saturday).

Some programs at Castle View do not allow a student to compete with just one F. Please make sure your student athlete is aware of the eligibility policy for CHSAA, Castle View and their team. Please contact the Athletic Director if you have any questions or concerns.

These meetings are important and will give you insight into the Athletic/Activities program here at Castle View.
