I am thrilled to announce that Chris Crosby will be joining our community as the new head boys’ varsity basketball coach. Coach Crosby brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to our program.
Coach Crosby is an accomplished basketball player, having been awarded the 1996 Mr. Basketball award and named State Player of the Year while playing at Chatfield High School. He continued his playing career at Washington State University, where he was a four-year letterman and all All Pac 10 selection in 2000. He scored over 1300 career points and made 204 career three point field goals. He graduated with a degree in Business Management and Finance. After college, he had a successful professional career playing in several countries, including Portugal, Greece, Norway, Poland, Australia and the NBA Developmental League.
In addition to his playing career, Coach Crosby has an impressive coaching resume. He has served as a Boys Varsity Assistant Coach at Highlands Ranch High School and two separate stints at Mullen High School. Coach Crosby’s commitment to developing young players and his extensive experience at both the high school and collegiate levels make him an excellent choice to lead our program.
I am confident that Coach Crosby will continue to build on the strong foundation of our basketball program and lead our student-athletes to new heights and success. Coach Crosby will be on campus on Wednesday to meet with our players during Advisement in the Auditorium. Please join me in welcoming Coach Crosby to Castle View High School.
Coach Crosby will be communicating open gyms dates and summer activities shortly.
