Open Gym Dates
We will host open gyms on Monday and Thursday starting on 11/9 through the end of 2020. Here are the dates:
11/9, 11/12, 11/16, 11/19, 11/30, 12/3, 12/7 and 12/10. Times are 3:30-5:00. More open gyms for January and February will be announced once we know the basketball practice schedule. 
All players must complete and return the Liability Waiver to the Athletic's window before they can participate. 
Players must also fill out the Daily Sympton Tracker before each open gym. 

Tryouts and Preseason Camp
Our preseason camp will take place 2/22-2/25. Trouts will take place 3/1-3/2. Times will we announced as we get closer to the date.

Club and High School Questions

For this upcoming season, club and high school season will overlap for the months of March and April. Players will be allowed to participate in both seasons. In an effort to allow players to participate in both seasons we have done the following:

  • All levels, including varsity, will play best 2 of 3 sets for all their matches. 

  • We will limit our matches to 12, the minimum requirement to qualify for postseason play.

  • We have created a schedule that will accommodate for the most visited qualifiers (Crossroads, Show Me and Lone Star). We will only play one match the week of those qualifiers. Players who attend qualifiers will be allowed to miss practice the day they are traveling to those events. 

  • We will work with club directors to share players during the week for practices. On days where high school practice overlaps with club, we will limit physical activity. These days will have a shorter “no jump/attack” practice where the primary focus will be serve/pass, defense and game planning for our next opponent. 

The primary reason for these modifications is so that players and parents do not have to choose between club and high school volleyball. We want to create an environment where players can represent their school and not put an undue burden on themselves physically.
